Breathing new life into vintage furniture seemed the next logical step for Isabel Scott. Bringing together two passions - beautiful Art on British made linen with a long loved interest in vintage and antique furniture. So in readiness for Christmas 2020 when we all need to bring a little more cheer into our homes, we have set the elves at work in our workshop to bring you a few pieces of furniture that will hopefully brighten your home.
We are delighted to be able to share with you a handful of bespoke items of vintage furniture, most definitely not new but pre-loved and bursting with age and character. Quirky, and plain old fashioned, brought back to life with the aid of Sir Alfred Munnings, Cecil Aldin and Frederic Whiting.
Each item has been lovingly restored, buffed and polished and beautifully finished off with a length of a linen mix fabric featuring a artwork from The Munnings Art Museum, Mary Evans Picture Library and The Wolverhampton Museum. If you’re looking for something a bit different for your home or to source a gift that is bespoke and unique, then here it is.
Each piece offers layers of character and age, bringing it’s own individual story making them all faithfully British Vintage. These timeless images quite often evoke nostalgic emotions from a bye gone era so we hope you agree they look very much at home on an Edwardian or Art Deco chair.
